Our Sound
The EOTS sounds is classic whilst being alive and fresh. Powerful riffage, wandering bass lines, huge Bonhamesc drums and the occasional touch of melancholic and melodic serenity, nestled in like city pigeons amongst a sky-scraping musical soundscape.
Take the driving guitar riffs of the 70’s, ram them down the throat of today and standing in front of you, you will find EOTS. Lyrically, stories are told, statements are made and the occasional world is put to rights, all delivered by a powerful vocal that has lost a bar fight and been dipped in whisky by way of revival.
Don’t be surprised if by the end of the night you’re not all stood on the table, tequila in hand shouting at the world to either step up or **** off. Either way, you will know you are alive.
Critical Acclaim
Andy O’hare, Worcester Live Music Critic"There's plenty of variety, though, and a searing bass line from the Midland boogie-boys, and if you're a Free or LedZep throwback (like me for example) then you'll be well pleased with the not-too-heavy - heavy set"
Marc Hache, Slap Magazine"These guys played a storming set at the Worcester Music Festival and their Blues-inspired alternative sound is winning them friends and fans throughout the county, the Sun is rising on this band!"
Sam Bacon, Organiser for Wustock, Worcester Rock City"East of the Sun are very worthy victors to complete the strong, talented line-up, they are the cherry on the cake for us"
Brian Maher, The Marrs Bar"They blew me away from the very first note of the set"
Andrew Marston, BBC Hereford and Worcester"More original riffs than I've counted for many-a-moon"
Surge Music"They are the real deal, searing bass lines and curveball vocal melody, with rock solid drums…."
